April Crochet-a-Long!

We are getting ready for the April crochet-a-long in my CAL group!! The theme for the month of April is “Try Something New!” My sweet admin, Lashele of Lil’ Miss Monkey Doodles is leading the fun.

Since this is Lashele’s first time hosting a CAL she decided to make it a “first” CAL. The patterns she has chosen may challenge some of you as it may be a “first” time doing the stitch, yarn, etc. The patterns are Azure the Winter Sprite, Lamb Noggin Pal & Winkie the Elf Noggin Pal (my first Noggin pattern.) Can you see a pattern 😉? Hopefully you will challenge yourself with something new & you will play along.

Also during the month Lashele will be doing a fun game/giveaway. Every day she will post a question in the group. All the answers can be found in the group, Made by Mary Facebook page, here on this website or my Ravelry page. Some will be easy & some you may have to search for. These questions will be open for 24hrs. The top 5 with the most correct answers will win a pattern of choice from my pattern shop!

April 10-16: head (body)
April 17-23: arms & legs
April 24-30: tail & finish off

Winkie the Elf Noggin Pal
April 3-9: nose & ears
April 10-16: body
April 17-23: legs & arms
April 24-30: hat & finish up.

March Crochet-a-Long

What is a Crochet-a-long? It is a super fun way to make a crochet project with a group of people all doing the same thing at the same time! There are deadlines so if you have a hard time finishing a project, the deadlines help you stay on track and actually finish! Also if you have questions, there are plenty of people to ask and receive help from! I have a great CAL group on Facebook Made by Mary CAL. Each month we have a new project. So far we have done several fun crochet projects. For the month of March there are 2 options: Buster the Bunny and Seymore the Skunk. Use coupon code: MARCHCAL to get 30% off either or both of these patterns through March 15.

Here is the schedule:
March 1-7: Hands, Arms, Feet, Legs
March 8-14: Body
March 15-21: Skunk: Muzzle, Tail and Back Stripe, Bunny: Muzzle, Nose, Ears, Belly
March 22-29: Everything else!

In the facebook group there is a photo album for each one. Here are the links to the albums: Skunk and Bunny. Each week complete the requirements and put your pictures in the respective album. Random winners are chosen to receive free patterns. At the end, if you have completed your design on time and have your photo in the correct album, you will get a free pattern from my Ravelry shop!
